11ICSSM Awards
We are pleased to announce that we will be continuing the RC33 Awards for Best Paper and for Best Paper by a Young Scholar at the 11th Social Science Methodology Conference of RC33 in Naples, Italy (22-25 September 2025).
There is still time before the extended deadline to submit a paper for the RC33 Awards for Best Papers! Submit your best work by 31 August 2025 for either Best Paper or Best Paper by a Young Scholar.
These awards will highlight excellent published work by RC33 members. Winners will be awarded a 300 Euros prize.

Eligibility
All RC33 members as of September 2025 are eligible for the awards. Papers should be:
- on a broadly social science-related topic,
- written in English,
- published in a peer-reviewed journal no earlier than 1 January 2023, and
- at least one author should be an RC33 member.
Applicants should be planning to attend the 11th Social Science Methodology Conference of RC33 in Naples, Italy (22-25 September 2025).
For the Young Scholar Award, applicants should have completed their doctorate no earlier than 31 December 2022.
Selection Criteria
Submissions will be judged by an awards committee made up of RC33 board members. Papers will be judged on:
- scientific contribution,
- innovative nature, and
- style, in terms of writing and presentation.

- Name
- Affiliation
- Attached paper for consideration
Please indicate clearly whether you would like to be considered for the Young Scholar award. If so, please also attach a copy of your CV.
